Welcome to the Highway Engineering Exchange Program (HEEP) website, if you haven't visited the HEEP web site before then thanks for stopping by. If you have visited the site before then thanks for coming back to see us, if this is your first visit then I hope you find it an informative one. As you explore the site be sure to let us know what you think and what you would like to see added or changed.

This year marks HEEP's 52st year of exchanging computer and technology information between the highway engineering professionals and their various organizations in North America, Europe and the world. 2010 IHEEP - Tuesday, June 22, 2010

The planning of the 2010 International Highway Engineering Exchange Program (IHEEP) Conference is taking shape. You can find the draft technical program on the conference website at www.mi.gov/heep. Software and Hardware vendors continue to sign up for sponsorship (see the website for the current list).

Registration for the 2010 International Highway Engineering Exchange Program(IHEEP) is now open. You can register by visiting the www.mi.gov/heep website.

The conference, scheduled September 26-30, in Dearborn, Michigan, will feature a strong technical program and excellent social events. Attendees will include US, Canadian and Eastern European transportation agencies as well as consultants, contractors and engineering software/hardware vendors.

In times of declining budgets we rely strongly on technologies to gain efficiencies and increase services. Collaboration with other agencies is critical to our success. We must share our victories and our mistakes to ensure we spend our tax dollars wisely.

Each of us has valuable experiences to share with our peers and the IHEEP conference is a prime opportunity for that collaboration. We look forward to your participation at this year’s IHEEP Conference in Michigan.
